May 15, 2012 marks our 90th year

On May 15, 1922, business leaders formed the Community Chest.  The organization now exists as United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County.  United Way advances the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all. Our focus here at United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County is on education, income and health - the builiding blocks for a good quality of life.
