Drive community-level goals and strategies for EDUCATION, INCOME, and HEALTH.
Conduct focus groups for education, income, health.
Re-engage endorsing partners to establish long-term goals for education, income, health.
Design Community Impact Agenda v2.0.
Redesign scoring curve for agency allocations to maximize dollars for top-impact programs.
Use Regional Report Card to make case for work and develop initiative strategies.
Develop Grant Resourcing Plan for Smart Beginnings, BEST, NHN, Volunteer Center, and health initiative.
Communicate - communicate - communicate. Educate stakeholders on need, strategy, progress, and results.
Drive reinvigorated resource development plan and re-invented workforce campaign.
Dedicate full-time professional staff to campaign efforts.
Increase the number of 1-to-1 relationship building efforts with CEOs, donors, and volunteers.
Grow Leadership Giving by graduating donors to higher levels.
Invest $10K from current reserve to establish an endowment fund as a catalyst for a planned giving program.
Conduct pilot text giving campaign in the fall 2010 ($10 on 10-10-10).
Form task force around small business engagement strategies (Give, Advocate, Volunteer).
Recruit highly-motivated and skilled co-chairs for campaign (entire company takes campaign lead).
Drive engagement by driving LIVE UNITED beyond the wearing of the shirt.
Maximize social media engagement.
Design 1-to-1 “point-of-sale” marketing efforts around engagement opportunities.
Segment markets—focus on implementing a women’s leadership initiative and a student United Way.
Simplify the messaging - Define LIVE UNITED through clear engagement language.
Maintain year-round presence—beyond campaign.
Expand brand visibility. Focus on LIVE UNITED.
Use strategic matrix to develop board of directors and other volunteer leadership.
Drive operational excellence to be the leading nonprofit organization in the region.

Cross-train professional staff to ensure back-up systems for all functions.

Redesign Accounting Model
Create task force for re-designing accounting model to accommodate grant management.
Technology Update
Explore new software applications for community impact, donor and relationship management; and new hardware needs for server, etc.
